About us:

The Youth Dialogue is an innovative youth-centric news platform, built to help educate and share information written by young people, for young people. We a registered social enterprise pushing the boundaries of journalism, crafting fresh formats, championing reader engagement and using multimedia content to maximise our impact. We currently have over 40 young volunteers from over 15 countries on the team.

About you:

We have ensured that this programme is accessible to everyone: we encourage applications from young people from all over the world and from all age groups. We will adapt our support to meet your needs whether you’re new to writing entirely or if you’re a college student looking to delve into deeper research areas.

The Programme:

You will be researching, planning and writing articles relating to your chosen subject area, whether Economics, Politics, Science, or something else – we want to support you in writing content you care about. The articles we publish vary from deeper, more specialist articles to short, fun informative pieces, so there’s something for everyone.

To complete the programme you must publish 3 articles, however, we are flexible with timings and deadlines as we recognise everyone’s schedule is different. Articles will be published on our website and adapted into social media content. Upon completion, we will provide you with a certificate and a letter of recommendation.

Progression:

We are committed to recognising and supporting emerging talent: if you’re passionate and put in the work, we’d love to expand your responsibilities. We have positions available writing regular columns/ feature pieces, taking part in interviews, as well as managerial roles.
